The Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of
Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague, organizes a
five-days Thematic Training Course on New Developments in Computational
Linguistics.

Goal and Focus
--------------

The goal of the CLARA Winter School is to expose young researchers to
recent advances in Computational Linguistics. The CLARA Winter School
addresses a wide range of topics from distributional semantics to new
developments in machine translation, from extreme computing to dialogue
systems and lexicographic tools.
The course is specifically aimed at early stage researchers pursuing a PhD
degree but it is also open for participants at master and postdoctoral
levels.
We expect participants especially with computer science background
interested in natural language processing. Active experience with the
Moses System is welcome.
The school consists of lectures, discussions, and hands-on training
activities.
