											Associate Professor position (Université Paris-Diderot,  
Paris, France)

The Linguistics Department at  Université Paris Diderot   invites  
candidates for  an associate professor position
in the area of Morphology and Syntax : theory and experimental methods

The candidate should have a PhD in Linguistics (or equivalent)  
defended before December 13th 2011.

S/he should have expertise in contemporary morphological and syntactic  
theories, as well as experience of quantitative or psycholinguistic  
methods.

S/he should be able to promote an innovative interdisciplinary  
research program with linguists, psycholinguists and computational  
linguists, and become a member of Laboratoire de Linguistique formelle  
(CNRS http://www.llf.cnrs.fr/) or Alpage (Inria  https://www-roc.inria.fr/alpage-wiki/tiki-index.php?page=accueil 
  ).

S/he may become a member of the 10 year project  LabEx Empirical  
Foundations of Linguistics (http://www.labex-efl.org)

S/he will  teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the Linguistics  
department and will be paid in accordance with the French state  
regulated public service salary scale.

This is a permanent  life time position with a civil servant status.
