New Graduate Certificate in Computational Linguistics at Montclair State
University

The Graduate Certificate in Computational Linguistics provides students
with a basic education in the interdisciplinary field of computational
linguistics. The new program enables students to understand core
algorithms and data structures in CL, and both symbolic and statistical
methods in CL and their appropriate use in applications.

This one year program is designed for graduates in related disciplines,
for example, Computer Science, Linguistics, or Electrical Engineering, who
wish to gain sufficient expertise in this inherently cross-disciplinary
area to effectively participate in language technology projects in
industry and academia. Students will take graduate level courses in
Computer Science and Linguistics.

Further details on the program can be found by sending email to

Eileen Fitzpatrick fitzpatricke at mail.montclair.edu or
