[Corpora-List] MediaEval 2012 multimedia benchmark: Please fill out survey to help pick the 2012 task/data

Dear colleague,

MediaEval (http://www.multimediaeval.org) is a benchmarking initiative dedicated to evaluating new algorithms for multimedia access and retrieval. It emphasizes the 'multi' in multimedia and focuses on human and social aspects of multimedia tasks. MediaEval attracts participants who are interested in multimodal approaches to multimedia involving, e.g., speech recognition, multimedia content analysis, user-contributed information (tags, tweets), viewer affective response, social networks, temporal and geo-coordinates. 

The MediaEval 2012 season kicks off with the MediaEval 2012 Survey. The survey is used to collect your opinion on which tasks should be run in MediaEval 2012. If you are interested in participating in MediaEval 2012, please fill out the survey:

The survey will take you 5 minutes if you fill in only the main questions and about 25 minutes if you chose to answer the additional questions and give comments (which we encourage).

The MediaEval 2012 task list will be finalized in mid-February and sign up will open soon after. Please be sure to fill your email address in in the first page of the survey if you would like to receive a mail when sign up opens. 

The MediaEval 2012 season will conclude with a workshop to be held October 2012.
