Siemens Corporation, Corporate Research and Technology  invites
applications for internship positions in Natural Language Processing.

Successful candidates will contribute in research and development
efforts that develop large scale systems employing NLP, IR and Machine
Learning technologies.
Duration of the internship is expected to be 4 months or longer,
preferably starting as soon as possible (**Please indicate your
availability on your application).

Required:
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Strong research experience in NLP.

Desirable:
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: information
retrieval, semantic search, vector space models, text mining,
large-scale data processing
- Experience with Apache Lucene
- Experience with IBM UIMA framework
- Experience with Amazon Mechanical Turk.
