Three-year fixed term contract lecturer with research specialization in 
logic, linguistics, philosophy of language.

The successful candidate must have his/her PhD in hand by the date of 
application. The candidate will be teaching undergraduate and MA courses 
in logic, formal linguistics, and philosophy of language, supervise 
research students in these areas, and take on some administrative duties 
in the Department. An important part of this position involves 
participation in the research activities of the Fellowship's ESRC funded 
project on probabilistic modelling of linguistic knowledge. It is a 
desirable criteria that candidates have a good publication record, as 
manifested in print or digital publications and other research outputs, 
as would be recognised by REF.
