[Corpora-List] Job: KTP Associate (Natural Language Engineering and Infomation Retrieval) at University of Essex

The University of Essex is looking to recruit a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate with strong natural language engineering or information retrieval skills, to manage an innovative and challenging new project in partnership with Moira Benigson Executive Search LLP (MBS Group) in North West London.

The MBS Group is developing an information service that will provide senior business executives with personalised, relevant and contextually appropriate information. The project will combine research from a range of existing NLP and IR technologies such as search, information extraction, user profiling, and summarisation, to build a new, highly scalable information service. This project is for a fixed term of 21 months.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is a government funded technology transfer initiative that supports partnerships between business and universities, placing recent graduates on challenging, high profile projects. Further information is available at www.ktponline.org.uk

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
