Sorry,

The correct URL for the robot commands annotation game should be:

http://www.trainrobots.com

Kind Regards,

Subject: New corpus game with a purpose - beta testing required

Dear Corpora List,

TrainRobots (http://www.traintrobots.com) is a new free game with a purpose for building a large-scale annotated English corpus of robot commands. In the game, players are shown pairs of before/after images of blocks on a board, and enter commands for a robot arm to make that move.

To make the game fun, you can also rate other players' commands from 1 to 5 and receive bonus points when your commands get voted up (this also allows us to run some statistics to filter/derank spam and bad players).

The website is currently in Beta testing. If anyone wishing the play the game for 15 to 30 minutes that will be very appreciated :-) All data collected in this game will be made available freely as an open source corpus without cost for the benefit of both the NLP and robotics research communities.

The game is also fun, as it requires describing complex spatial tasks for which you receive points … it's all for a good cause. In Beta testing, the game has some limitations that are still being fixed.Feel free to get in touch with any questions. Feedback on the game design would also be very appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Kais Dukes
