The Center for Language and Speech Processing (CLSP) at the Johns
Hopkins University seeks applicants for postdoctoral fellowship
positions in speech and language processing, including the areas of
natural language processing, speech, machine learning and health
informatics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline and
a strong research record.

The center has a number of postdoctoral positions available for the
coming year. Possible research topics include:
- Information Extraction with Distant Supervision
- Low Resource Speech Recognition
- Open Domain Targeted Sentiment Extraction
- Machine Learning Methods for Electronic Health Record data
- Trend Detection in Social Media
- Speaker and Language Recognition Based on Deep Neural Nets
- Broadly Multilingual Learning of Morphology
- A Declarative Programming Framework for AI
- Risk Prediction from Electronic Health Record Data
- Adaptive Algorithms for Approximate Inference
