We are seeking applications for 1 three-year PhD studentship at the
University of Birmingham. (A second PhD studentship at King's is
advertised separately.) The PhD will investigate an aspect of how
representations of animals in English have changed over time, based on
the analysis of corpus data (http://tinyurl.com/qg8tdt7 for further
information).

Further particulars and details of how to apply can be found at
http://bit.ly/13IlMbQ

Informal enquiries are welcome. Please contact Alison Sealey via email
at a.j.sealey at bham.ac.uk.

Do please draw this message to the attention of other people who you
think may be interested, including talented students approaching the end
of their Master's studies, as it may be possible for such an applicant
to register for the PhD after the project start date in September.

Thank you.
