*In case this might be of interest:*
Dear all –
Please find below an invitation to attend the third of the *Data – Asset –
Method: Harnessing the Infinite Archive* international research network
events.
*Data – Asset – Method: Harnessing the Infinite Archive* is an
international research network led by the University of Nottingham and
funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the Horizon
Digital Economy Research Institute. Bringing together university partners
in the UK and US, along with cultural institutions and industry partners in
the UK, the network explores the shaping of digital archives and, in turn,
technology and knowledge.
The event, entitled *'The Infinite Archive: The Archival
Perspective,'*takes place on
*Friday 10th May 2013* and will focus on questions and problems encountered
by libraries and publishers contributing to the infinite archive and
academics using their resources, and opportunities and requirements for
further developments. The event will take place at *The British Library*,
96 Euston Road, London, NW1 2DB (British Library Conference Centre, Eliot
Room.)
You will find a provisional programme for the event below this email, along
with further information about the network itself.
For planning purposes, please register your attendance with Matthew Freeman
(aaxmaf at nottingham.ac.uk) as soon as possible.
