[Corpora-List] open position: Russian linguist/phonetician

Appen is looking for a native Russian linguist/phonetician to act as a voice coach during studio recordings. The work involves monitoring recordings of a voice talent, making sure that the voice talent reads exactly what is written, that pronunciation is correct and consistent throughout the recordings. You will be communicating feedback and making sure the guidelines are followed.

Project Information:

*         Location: recordings studio in Moscow

*         Hours: total of approximately 80 hours

*         Length of assignment: starting end of April, for 4-6 weeks, 4-6 hours a day

Requirements:

*         Master's degree in Linguistics/Phonetics

*         Native speaker of Russian

*         Ability to read SAMPA

*         Have a good ear for pronunciation differences and intonation patterns

*         Be precise and thorough

*         Coaching personality
