We invite you to attend KONVENS 2014, the bi-annual German
Conference on Natural Language Processing (“Konferenz zur
Verarbeitung Natürlicher Sprache”, KONVENS). KONVENS is organized by
the German Society for Computational Linguistics (GSCL), the special
interest group on computational linguistics within the German
Linguistics Society (DGfS-CL), and the Austrian Society for
Artificial Intelligence (ÖGAI).

Registration costs are as follows:
Early Bird until August 28th 80 €
Full rate August 29th and later 90 €
Student throughout 30 €
The cost of registration includes access to all scientific sessions
and plenary talks, coffee breaks , and the welcome reception. The
registration fees cover both the main conference and the workshops
co-located with KONVENS. If you intend to attend only one of them,
the regular registration fees still apply.
Tickets for the conference dinner cost 40 € and a catered lunch can
be booked for 12 € a day.

VENUE AND TRANSPORTATION:
Hildesheim is located about 30 km southeast of Hanover in Lower
Saxony. It is one of the oldest cities in Northern Germany, hosting
two UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Hildesheim is a stop on the (fast) ICE train line running from
Stuttgart to Berlin, which also stops in Frankfurt. This train runs
many times a day. You can also get to Hildesheim from the Hannover
ICE hub via regional trains or the S-Bahn.
