Doctoral students in the area of Computational Psycholinguistics and Machine Learning
Job description
• You prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of computational psycholinguistics, i.c., computational modeling of bootstrapping in language acquisition;
• You contribute to teaching and research in CLiPS (Computational Linguistics & Psycholinguistics Research Center) of the department of Linguistics
Profile and requirements
• You hold a master degree in (Computational) Linguistics, Computer Science, or Psychology;
• You have achieved outstanding academic results;
• Your academic qualities comply with the requirements stipulated in the university’s policy;
• You are quality-oriented, conscientious, creative and cooperative;
• You have excellent programming skills in Python (or similar), a keen interest in handling large text corpora, basic knowledge of linguistics, and have experience with statistical analysis.
We offer
• A doctoral scholarship for a period of two years, with the possibility of renewal for a further two-year period after positive evaluation;
• The start date of scholarship will be October 1 or November 1 (negotiable);
• A gross monthly grant ranging from € 2 167,88- € 2 312,49;
• A dynamic and stimulating work environment.
