[Corpora-List] Strange deluge of email from ACL

On June 6 at 12:49 am, I received a deluge of over 100 emails
from portal at aclweb.org.  They seemed to be copies of older messages,
and I deleted them.

A day later, a colleague of mine received a similar deluge,
which also seemed to contain some copies of old messages from
corpora list.

There seems to be a software glitch somewhere.  Have other people
encountered a similar phenomenon?
