1) Post Doc & Studentship in Data Analytics

A post-doctoral post and funded studentship are available to work on a 
project funded by Science Foundation Ireland, as part of the Insight: 
Centre for Data Analytics at UCD; headed by Prof. Mark Keane.  The 
project will involve text analytics for capturing population opinions.

The Post-Doc is, in the first instance, a 2-year funded post, with 
options for extension (Level 1/2A:  entry point EUR 33,975). The 
successful candidate will be responsible for leading, designing and 
implementing the research work, reporting to Prof. Keane.  The candidate 
will also be expected to liaise with sponsoring companies.  Candidates 
should have (or have submitted) a PhD in Computer Science or other 
Cognate Discipline, with significant experience of research in data

The Studentship is fully funded with a stipend and fee payment (total 
package, EUR24,500).  The successful candidate be supervised by 
Prof.ÊKeane and be registered for a postgraduate degree at UCD and will

primary degree in Computer Science or other Cognate Discipline.  If

2) Post Doc & Studentship in Cognition & Mobile Gaming For Analytics

A post-doctoral post and funded studentship are available to work on a 
project funded by Enterprise Ireland, involving collaborative research 
between a dynamic start-up, Upfront Analytics, and the Insight: Centre 
for Data Analytics at UCD; headed by Prof. Mark Keane.  The project will 
involve testing aspects of mobile games (e.g., word games) that are most 
effective for performing market and consumer research, with a view to 
understanding the cognitive basis of user behavior.

The Post-Doc is a 24-month funded post (Level 2A:  entry point 
EUR33,975). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, 
designing and implementing the research work and liaising with the 
sponsoring company, reporting to Prof. Keane.  Candidates should have 
(or have submitted) a PhD in Psychology, Cognitive Psychology or other 
Cognate Discipline, with significant experience of experimental design
