Call for Participation SEMEVAL 2014 Task 10 -- Multilingual STS: English & Spanish

SEMEVAL 2014 workshop will be co-located with COLING 2014 in Dublin Ireland, http://www.coling-2014.org/

Building on the semantic textual similarity (STS) task from SEMEVAL 2012 and 2013 *SEM Shared Task, this year's STS brings a multilingual flair, as we announce the SEMEVAL Task 10: Multilingual Semantic Textual Similarity. This task features separate tracks for English and Spanish, yet teams are encouraged to participate in both evaluations. STS-EN 2014 is an expanded version of the 2013 task with more varied data sets. STS-ES 2014 follows the same setup as its sister subtask, yet it introduces a new layer of difficulty as we shift focus to Spanish and explore the challenges posed by the lower availability of electronic resources in this language (when compared to English).
