C at merata at MediaEval 2014 - Natural language queries on classical music scores

In the C at merata task, there will be a series of 200 questions with required
answers. Each question will consist of a short noun phrase in English referring
to musical features in a score and a short classical music score in
MusicXML. The required answer will consist of zero or more passages occurring
in the score which contain the musical features specified in the question.

Example queries are 'whole note in the bass', 'melodic octave' or 'change of
clef'. The scores used are masterpieces of the Renaissance and Baroque eras
such as works by Johann Sebastian Bach, John Dowland, Domenico Scarlatti and
Francesco Canova da Milano.

Training data is available, as is a baseline system in Python to use as
a starting point if participants wish.
