I*nternational Conference CORPORA 2015*

Dear colleagues,

the Department of Mathematical Linguistics, Faculty of Philology,
St.-Petersburg State University,  together with the Institute for
Linguistic Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Department of
 Educational Technologies in Philology, Faculty of Philology, Herzen State
Pedagogical University of Russia are happy to announce the details of the
VIIth International Conference
Corpus Linguistics 2015 (CORPORA 2015) (http://www.corpora.phil.spbu.ru/).

*The conference will be held in St. Petersburg from the 22th to 26th of
June 2015.*

The conference is intended to cover a wide range of issues in corpus
linguistics, of either theoretical or practical value

The main topics of the conference:

Theoretical issues of corpus linguistics
Standards in corpus linguistics
New tools, methods and techniques in corpus development and use
Morphological, semantic and syntactic analysis and annotation in corpora
Specialized corpora
Parallel and comparable corpora and machine translation
Spoken corpora
Text corpora and formal ontologies, thesauri, databases
Corpus-based linguistic studies
Application of corpus approaches in education, and humanities
Corpora application in NLP

Participation in the conference

The authors are kindly asked to send their full or short papers via
http://corpora.phil.spbu.ru/
by the 15th of March 2015.
Notice of acceptance will be sent to authors by the 15th of April 2015.
Camera-ready papers should be presented by the 1st of May 2015.

Recommendations on paper formatting  see on the site of the conference.

In course of review procedure preference will be given to papers fully
corresponding to conference topics and  actually contributing to corpora
development and use.

The Proceedings will be published by the Conference opening time and will
be indexed by the Russian Science Citation Index.

We kindly ask the authors to follow the requirements concerning
camera-ready papers and abstracts. Non-observance of recommendations for
authors may be the reason for  paper rejection in course of review
procedure.

Conference languages: English, Russian.

Conference fee
The conference fee is 60 euros; for students, including PhD students, 30
euros.
This will cover the costs of one copy of the proceedings, coffee break
refreshment and other organizing costs.
Please note that accommodation is not included in the registration fee.
The conference fee shall be paid before May 7, 2015. After this date the
fee is 50 % higher.
Bank account for registration fees will be given in the Information Letter
No. 2.
