[Corpora-List] Corpus Linguistics in Scotland (CLiS)

Dear Corpora list members,

Following the success of other corpus groups (e.g. Corpus Linguistics in the South), we are planning to launch the 'Corpus Linguistics in Scotland' (CLiS) group.

We would like to invite all corpus researchers who are based in Scotland (or who fancy coming up North!) to join us.  We anticipate that the group will meet at least once per semester, but this will be reviewed as soon as we know the interests of CLiS members.  The idea for these meetings is to establish a collaborative forum whereby members may exchange experiences, work on analytical issues, present progress reports, and so on.

We look forward to hearing from you and to working together to build a productive CLiS group.
