We are pleased to announce the celebration of the 1st International Conference on The Discourse of Identity, which will be held in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) from 13 to 15 June 2012.

Our aim is to turn to a multi- and inter- disciplinary approach from fields such as linguistics, literature, sociology, psychology, history, and gender studies, among others, in order to render a comprehensive analysis of this complex issue –the drama of identity.
