[Dgkl] SAVE THE DATE: 9th International Conference of the German Cognitive Linguistics Association (DGKL/GCLA-9)

Dear all,

This is to let you know that the/9th International Conference of the German Cognitive Linguistics 
Association /(DGKL/GCLA-9) will take place at the University of Erfurt (Erfurt, Germany) from*23rd to 26th September 2020*.

The framing theme of the conference will be "Cognitive Linguistics as an Interdisciplinary Endeavour: Theoretical and Methodological Challenges".
  
The plenary lectures are meant to bring in a broad repertoire of methods from corpus linguistics, psycho-/neurolinguistics, typological linguistics and language-acquisition research. The plenary speakers confirmed to date are/Ewa Dabrowska /(Erlangen),///Dirk Geeraerts /(Leuven),//Natalia Levshina/ (Leipzig), Sabine Stoll/  (Zürich),/Kristian Tylén/  (Aarhus) and/Stefanie Wulff /(Florida).

So far, the following two specialized workshops are in preparation: "Cognitive Linguistics and the Cognitive Neuroscience of Language" as well as "Sprache und Öffentlichkeit".

The first call for papers,theme sessions and workshops will soon appear on this list as well on the linguist list. Do not hesitate to email us at<DGKL2020 at uni-erfurt.de>. More news about the conference are available from our conference website atwww.uni-erfurt.de/tagungen/DGKL_2020, which will be continually updated.
