Hello,
This is David Boje. I have jointed the Discours list. I am a
storyteller and a critical postmodernist. I first became interested in
storytelling, then found out it had something to do with discourse, then
began to look at postmodern aspects of discourse. Now, my recent turn is to
look in the abyss of labor exploitation and ecological decay while listening
with my other ear to the discourse the spectacle of production and
consumption. In one ear I hear the misery of labor/Nature and it the other
I hear the telos of progress and technocratic determinism. It makes me very
mixed up, which is why I say I am a critical postmodernist. I am hoping to
find some answers to my discourse fragmentation, but know deep down that
that is Enlightenment propaganda. I hope that serves as some sort of
introduction.
