Introduction

Hi all,
I am an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Composition at the University
of Alabama at Birmingham.  My primary interest right now centers on the
uses of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) in composition studies, but I am
also more interested in the general scope of discourse as well.  I'm struck
by the interdisciplinarity of the "Introductions" so far, and I really look
forward to learning from all of you.
