Green Discourse

Hi,

I'm undertaking a PhD on the topic of green architectural discourse,
implementing Bourdieu's social theory (field) and Foucualt's notion of the
'will to truth' to determine distinction and exclusion.
I am currently in the process of determining an appropriate discourse
analysis method and am concerned that as I am not trained in linguistics,
and am applying discourse analysis to a previous unrelated area of
discourse (architecture), I may not select the most appropriate method.

Is anyone out there doing work in this area, that is, analysing
architectural discourse, green architectural discourse, environmental
discourse or green discourse, who can suggest and comment on appropriate
methods, e.g. Teun van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis, Norman
Fairclough's Media Discourse Analysis etc.
