The Rhetoric program in the Department of English at Carnegie Mellon
University is seeking to fill a tenure track position at the Assistant
Professor level. We are looking for someone whose interests and areas of
expertise bridge rhetorical analysis and production. The candidate's record
should feature rhetorically grounded scholarship in new media, writing and
technology, or some related area, as well as teaching expertise and
experience in technical/professional writing and/or on-line information
design. The successful candidate will be able to contribute to
undergraduate and graduate programs in professional writing, communication
design, rhetoric, and literary and cultural study.
