new book on text and discourse analysis

Dear all,
How are we supposed to give comments about this book and report whether it
can be used in our classes if we don't have it? It seems that since this
announcement is of the forwarded kind, it must have been sent to individuals
for whom it is destined, not for us. As compared to Schiffrin (1994), the
book's contents strikes me as more comprehensive for a course. Are the
authors ready to make an exception, and send evaluation copies for people
interested in using it in their classes? BTW, do the moderators of the List
think it desirable and doable to start reviewing discourse books for the
discourse community? A few questions that perhaps deserve answers.

Kind regards
