Dear Koyama_Murakami
To criticise a piece of translation and to find the best translation of a
text, specifically of a sacred one, there should be a theoretical basis. I
chose M.A.K.Halliday's Systemic Functional Grammar, from which Ideational
function of language, specifically the "processes" of a text constituted my
focus of attention. Therfore first I analysed the types of the processes of
the selected texts of the Holy Qur'an and then after doing the same on three
famous translations of the Holy Qur'an, I did my interpretations out of
these analyses.
Good luck, and announcing my readyness for any cooperation.
Sicerely yours
M Shokrollahi
