Hi, 
This is just an introduction as requested on the invitation to the list. 

I'm a full-time lecturer at Dublin Institute of Technology's Business Faculty in Ireland and am doing a part-time postgrad at Brunel University West London. I'm interested in what I initially called the strategic thinking of managers.After much good counsel and more recently reading Potter & Wetherell's (1987) Discourse and Social Psychology I'm busily redefining what I'm studying. In 1990 I took a Masters in Economics at Cork where D. McCloskey's Rhetoric of Economics was a favorite reading. Though I still teach a lot of economics it is very much in a management school context.... indeed if pushed on my disciplinary loyalties I describe myself a recovering economist.

I'm looking forward to some initial lurking on the list but hope I'll soon be able to contribute.
