CNN said that the public hospital was not evacuated because someone had shot at the helicopter which delayed evacuation for at least 2 days. Also I head a National Public Radio interview with the head of FEMA in which he said that the reports of presence of people at the Convention Center was something based upon "anecdotal" reports which couldn't be taken seriously.  The interviewer pointed out that these were seasoned professional journalists who had been in many disasters and war zones.  In addition, the FEMA chief seemed totally unaware that there was extensive video footage of the scene showing continuously. Bush and Cheney are now going to investigate the government's delay.
