PhD Scholarship: Linguistic Analysis of Ambulance Emergency Calls

Dear all,
We invite applications for a PhD scholarship (3 years) linked to a NHMRC
funded partnership project entitled 'Improving Ambulance Dispatch to
Time-Critical Emergencies'. The project involves linguistic analysis of
emergency ambulance phone calls. The doctoral research will be based at
Curtin University (Bentley campus) in Perth Western Australia, with
co-supervision by Associate Professor Kay O’Halloran in the School of
Education and Professor Judith Finn in the Prehospital, Resuscitation and
Emergency Care Research Unit (PRECRU) within the School of Nursing and
Midwifery.
