Hi Jane,
I'm not sure if you have this option, but if possible please put something in the subject line. Otherwise I'm likely to delete the message for fear of viruses and what not.
Thanks,

This is the collaborative that I mentioned at last week's
Elf meeting. It is intended to give professors and TAs
ideas for promoting active learning. There should be
plenty of good information. I hope to see you there!

Collaborative Forum on Teaching and Learning
Are you thinking about changes you might want to introduce into your courses
next year?
On April 27 from noon to 5:00 p.m. the inaugural Collaborative Forum on
Teaching and Learning will be held in the Van Pelt Dietrich Library. All
members of the Penn community are encouraged to attend any or all of the
sessions designed to highlight ways in which faculty can collaborate with
and use instructional services staff and resources to improve teaching and
learning across the University.
Sessions will begin on the hour in two locations [Dietrich and Gates Rooms],
both at the west end of the first floor of Van Pelt Dietrich Library.
Panel presentations in the Dietrich Room will feature Penn faculty
discussing innovative pedagogical strategies while the discussion sessions
in the Gates Room will focus on techniques for engaging students in their
own learning process.
Light refreshments will be served.
The schedule of events is available at
http://www.library.upenn.edu/news/98
Representatives from the Center for Teaching and Learning, Communications
Within the Curriculum (CWiC), Critical Writing Program, Office of Learning
Resources, Penn Program for Public Service , SAS Computing, and the Penn
Library will be available for consultation during the Forum.
The forum is sponsored by the School of Arts and Sciences and the University
of Pennsylvania Library.
