Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy
The Horowitz Foundation normally approves five to six grants each year, in
amounts ranging from $3,000-$5,000 per grant. The foundation makes targeted
grants for work in the major areas of the social sciences: anthropology, area
studies, economics, political science, psychology, sociology, and urban studies.
Preference will be given to projects that deal with contemporary issues in the
social sciences or issues of policy relevance, and to scholars in the initial
stages of work. Deadline: January 1, 2005. For more information see,
