Essential Teacher Section Editor Search

TESOL and the editor of Essential Teacher invite applications and nominations
for three openings on the magazine’s staff.

Out of the Box Editor: Out of the Box features forward-looking, creative, and
imaginative articles on English language teaching that would not be at home in
most traditional publications. Articles may take a perspective you may not
usually associate with the field of TESOL.

Home and Other Pages Editor: Home and Other Pages includes reviews of resources
relevant to teachers and their classrooms, such as texts, trade books, Web
sites, CDs, and software. 

Compleat Links Editor: Compleat Links is an online complement to ET. Items for
this section, which expand on or give new perspectives on the themes and topics
within the issue, appear on the ET Web page. 

Section editors serve a three-year term, beginning in September 2006. This term
includes an apprenticeship period preceding full editorship responsibilities.
Editors receive an honorarium. 

Please submit a letter of application, a curriculum vita, and the names, titles,
and contact information (including e-mail) of two referees. Applications should
be submitted electronically to Tim Stewart, editor of ET
(stewart at let.kumamoto-u.ac.jp).
