Teaching Japan a lesson: From the Emerald Isle to the Land of the Long White 
Cloud


With Japan's love of travel and apparent obsession with English learning, it 
may be surprising to learn that less than two percent of Japanese students 
ever study abroad.

In an effort to rectify this situation, Ireland and New Zealand -- two 
unlikely allies from opposite ends of the earth -- teamed up this month in an 
effort to attract Japanese students to their respective countries.
