Research

A paper (30-40 mins, followed by 10 mins of questions) may present a
discussion, an analysis, findings, report on research, or an argument as the
speaker sees fit. All papers should clearly based on 'a bridge' between at
least two areas (language, linguistics, literature and translation).
A brief presentation of about 15-20 mins should outline an issue or problematic
area which is then followed by a guided discussion for max.30 mins., prepared
and led by the speaker. Attendance is limited to 20 to enable maximum
participation. The theme should similarly involve 'building bridges' between at
least two areas (language, linguistics, literature and translation).
A submission must mention the Title of the paper or presentation, include a
brief outline (100 words max)to be included in the conference program, and a
fuller abstract for the review committee (500 words max).
