The Organising Committee for the Redesigning Pedagogy Conference 2007 is
pleased to invite you to join us in this biennial conference. The
conference will be held from 28-30th May 2007 at the National Institute
of Education, Singapore. The majority of the sessions will be held at
the National Institute of Education (NIE) and the Nanyang Technological
University (NTU).

The aim of this conference is to offer a platform for educational
practitioners and researchers to productively discuss and share research,
theories and best practices across languages, contexts and countries. We
are expecting approximately 1,800 participants.  Some of our keynote
speakers include leading education researchers like Prof Leslie Lo
(Chinese University of Hong Kong), Prof Suresh Canagarajah (City
University of New York), Prof Phillip Brown (Cardiff University), Prof
Stuart McNaughton (University of Auckland), Prof David Watkins (University
of Hong Kong) and Prof Andreas Schleicher (University of Heidelberg), who
will be sharing their work with the conference participants.

We anticipate active participation from key government policy and decision
makers from the education community in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific
region at this conference and hope to create opportunities for cultural
exchanges that can build towards diverse and educative experiences for
all.
