50% increase in complaints to Irish language commissioner

The number of complaints made to the Office of the Irish Commissioner has gone 
up by nearly 50 per cent since last year, according to An Coimisinéir Teanga Mr 
Sean O Cuirreáin, who met with the Green Party Leader Trevor Sargent last week 
to discuss the Tuarascáil Bhliantúil 2006 (annual report) and language issues 
in general during Deputy Sargent's visit to the Galway Gaeltacht last week.
