The innovative teacher education programme
Bachelor of Educational Sciences (BPSE) (www.uni.lu)
at the University of Luxembourg
is seeking qualified and experienced academic teaching staff to offer
seminars/data-based workshops on research methodology
in the field of learning and teaching
Winter term 2007 & Summer term 2008
Please find below details on vacant seminars/data-based workshops (2nd/3rd
year within the Bachelor programme):
2 x 20 hours (contact studies) conversation analysis (preferred strands:
ethno-methodological CA or CA informed interaction analysis, focus on
classroom/learning settings) (bpserm0701)
2 x 20 hours (contact studies) discourse analysis (preferred strands:
critical discourse analysis, pragmatic discourse analysis) (bpserm0702)
2 x 20 hours (contact studies) Video analysis (focus on interaction)

2 x 20 hours critical analysis of experimental data-design/ research design
(bpserm0704)
2 x 20 hours qualitative interviews/questionnaires (preferred: narrative
interview, semi-structured interview, analysis of questionnaires)

Course organization is flexible, allowing for bloc seminars throughout the
semester (October - January, March - May)
Teaching languages: preferably German, French or English
