Academic Language and Content:
A Focus on English Language Learners in Middle School
October 1-2, 2007
Oak Brook, IL
The 2007 CREATE Conference will present current research on strategies for improving the content area learning and literacy of ELLs in the middle grades. The presenters are among the nation's foremost scholars in areas related to the academic achievement of ELLs. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with national colleagues in small group settings.

Registration
Online registration <https://orion.tlc2.uh.edu/create_reg/register.php> is now available through the TIMES Web site. Registration is $175 per person and includes admission to all conference sessions; breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Oct. 1st; breakfast and lunch on Oct. 2nd; a primer of readings; and a handout binder. Hotel
The CREATE conference will be held at the Doubletree Hotel Chicago-Oak Brook, approximately 14 miles from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.
