Construction work of Int'l Mother Language Institute suspended since '03

          The construction work of the International Mother Language Institute 
has remained suspended since October 2003, as the authorities are yet to take 
steps to restart the work. 

According to the revised project proposal, the construction work would have 
been finished by December 2006 if it started in April. But the project 
officials say it will need at least one year to complete the project from the 
time of beginning the work. 

"The process of restarting the project is going on and we hope to start the 
construction work as soon as some formalities are completed", said the project 
director of the International Mother Language Institute.
