> The Coalition of Distinguished Language Centers (CDLC), the only

> proficiency, will  host a conference in Washington, DC, on December

> Eastern, Asian and European scholars and practitioners is anticipated  
> in the form of individual research papers, workshops, and a  
> roundtable on the topic of sociolinguistic and sociocultural aspects  
> of near-native language proficiency.
