SIXTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN ROME, ITALY   

"RE-FORMING THE CLASSROOM: WHAT TEACHERS CAN DO TO CONNECT LIVING AND LEARNING" 

29-30 NOVEMBER 2007

Join teachers around the world to explore the theme of Re-Forming the 
Classroom: What Teachers Can Do To Connect Living and Learning at the Sixth 
Annual Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture. The Forum will be conducted in 
the heart of Rome, Italy, on November 29-30, 2007. 

Designing new methods of teaching to meet the demands of both the classroom and 
society is the emphasis of this year’s meeting. Organizers of the Forum invite 
diverse and unique papers on a wide variety of topics, especially those that 
emphasize the interaction and connection between learning and living. 

Proposals should demonstrate an eagerness to share innovative practices and 
research with others who have a common concern for expanding educational and 
cultural opportunities for all people. Presentations are welcome in the 
following areas:

Humanities 
Art and Music 
Foreign languages 
Multiculturalism 
Social and applied sciences 
World religions 
New media 
Communications 
Teacher licensure 
English as a second language 
Study abroad 
Lifelong education 
Health and wellness 
Leadership 
Cross cultural studies 

Please send a 250-word abstract by e-mail for a proposed session or 
presentation to Dr. Bruce C. Swaffield by June 29, 2007 for full consideration. 
Include your name, institution, and contact information. All proposals will be 
considered by a panel of reviewers and decisions will be announced by July 6, 
2007
