Pearson Education Announces Google Web Toolkit Conference: World Class Speakers
Include GWT Creators and Leading Developers

Pearson Education today announced the plan for a dedicated conference for the
Google Web Toolkit(TM) (GWT) community, Voices That Matter: Google Web Toolkit
Conference, December 4-6, 2007, in San Francisco. The conference will bring
together the team from Google that created and continues to develop GWT, as
well as open source contributors and multi skill-leveled developers from around
the world.

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. (BusinessWire EON) June 11, 2007 -- Google Web
Toolkit(TM) (GWT) (http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/) makes it easier for
developers to build web applications. With GWT, users can develop and debug
AJAX applications in the Java language using their choice of Java development
tools. The GWT compiler translates Java applications to browser-compliant
JavaScript and HTML.

Voices That Matter: Google Web Toolkit Conference will be composed of keynotes
and two parallel tracks, one targeted for those relatively new to GWT and one
designed for those with some GWT experience who want to learn all the ins and
outs. Attendees will be encouraged to contribute to the community by sharing
what has worked in their own real-world development projects. Starting with pre-
event conference calls and including a conference blog and speaker podcasts,
participants will be given a range of opportunities to interact with the
speakers and each other. They will be part of an ongoing conversation before
and beyond the event.
