Making Kannada compulsory can lead to problems

Shimoga. Federation of private unaided schools fear that the decision to make 
Kannada medium mandatory in schools, which have violated language norms may 
result in new problems.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Sheshachala of the federation 
informed that 37 schools in the city have violated language norms in which 
5,000 students are pursuing 1st standard in the present academic year.
