The language of drop-outs

That language courses in Delhi University are popular and sought-after in spite 
of limited seats is no news. But the fact that many of the students who opt for 
these courses leave mid-way is. 

Many students join foreign language certificate courses in DU offered by many 
colleges, such as Lady Shri Ram, Miranda House, Delhi College of Arts and 
Commerce, amongst other colleges. But less than half, and in some cases just 
one-third, of those who enroll actually finish these courses.
