The English Debate: A press luncheon with David Graddol

The argument about the language of education is much more than developing the 
intellectual skills of children, it is also about an argument about national 
identity. The impact of policy changes in the use of the English language in 
education depends a lot on how well and how strategically it is managed. As 
much as there is great opportunity for success, there is also the big risk of a 
disaster. British Council in collaboration with Ateneo De Manila University
