Ex-Principal Seeks Return to Arabic Language School

 

NEW YORK, NY October 17, 2007 -The former principal of the city's Arabic language and culture school wants to sue the Department of Education. Debbie Almontaser also wants her job at the Khalil Gibran International Academy back. She resigned after being criticized for not condemning the use of the word "intifada" on a t-shirt. WNYC's Kathleen Horan reports.
