Foreign language course for teachers

 

Delhi University's (DU) Department of Germanic and Romance Studies plans to introduce a new diploma course in foreign language education from August this academic year. The one-year part-time course is designed to train those interested in teaching a foreign language. 

"The rise in employment opportunities abroad has created a demand for institutes teaching various foreign languages. In order to impart training to those interested in teaching a foreign language, we planned to introduce this course," informed Vibha Maurya, head of department.
