Miriam,
There are some programs sponsored by FUNIBER. They are delivered in Spanish for students in their program Spanish as a Second Language or in English for ESOL students. Their website is funiber.org. They have their offices in New York and Puerto Rico. They work with Spanish universities.

The Universidad de La Rioja (unirioja.es) in Spain is offering a master's program totally online in teaching foreign languages. Your students can read the website in English or in Spanish. The total cost of the master's degree is around $3000. The Universifad Antonio de Nebrija is also offering a very affordable program in foreign language education. I have a link to a Spanish website that has all of the Spanish university websites and links where your students can have a variety of options.

For students interested in Spanish programs only, the UNED  at uned.es is offering a Master's degree (official master's program that allows completers to register their PhD thesis at the end of their programs, there are other requirements, though) in Grammatical and Stylistic Analyses of the Spanish Language. They are accepting applications until September.

Auburn University has two programs: Masters in Foreign Language Education and Specialist program in Foreign Language Education. These are very, very affordable ($280 per credit hour for in- and out-state students. Both pay the same tuition fees). Nova Southeastern University is also offering two Spanish education programs through their Fischler School of Education. These are also via online ($535 per credit hour, I believe).

I will keep you posted if I remember other programs.

Take care,

Dear Colleagues,In response to several requests from our MA grads, we're compiling a list of Post Masters programs in Second language teaching, learning, and/or research- or applied linguistics. If you know of any such programs, we'd appreciate the info on location, program title(s), and program goals. The titles of ours at NYU are: Post Masters Advanced Certificate in: TESOL, Foreign Language Ed, and/or  Bilingual Education. These programs are taken for various reasons- sometimes to obtain a higher than Masters  professional credential, to expande knowledge on SLA teaching and learning- sometimes as a bridge to doctoral work. Thanks for your input!Miriam
